V.I.S.I.O.N. Leadership Academy

V.I.S.I.O.N. is the Foundation’s flagship leadership and workforce-development program for students in grades 10–12. The program helps students discover their strengths, develop leadership and life skills, explore career pathways, and create a practical plan for life after high school.

Who We Are
The Power Forward V.I.S.I.O.N. Program is a leadership, mentoring, and workforce-development program that prepares students in grades 10–12 to become confident leaders with a clear plan for life after high school.

Academic, athletic, and career-focused programs provide valuable opportunities for young people. Power Forward complements those efforts by offering additional support for students who may feel overlooked, uncertain about their direction, or in need of more personalized encouragement. Through mentoring, leadership development, character building, and workforce preparation, we help young people recognize their gifts, strengthen essential life skills, and prepare to lead, work, and contribute confidently to their communities.

Students explore pathways involving college, technical education, military service, entrepreneurship, and direct entry into the workforce. - Real-World Learning Experiences
Industry tours, employer conversations, guest speakers, job-shadowing opportunities, and hands-on activities connect classroom learning with real careers. - Mentorship, Goals, and Accountability
Students establish meaningful goals, develop practical action plans, track their progress, and receive support as they work toward their next steps. - Community Service and Leadership in Action

Our Partners
Habitudes® Leadership Lessons
Habitudes® uses memorable images, stories, and conversations to help young people understand important leadership and life principles. Created by Dr. Tim Elmore, this engaging ten-lesson series turns visual illustrations into practical lessons youth can remember and apply.
Participants explore:
- Character and self-leadership
- Confidence and personal responsibility
- Communication and relationships
- Values and decision-making
- Leadership habits and positive influence
- Applying life lessons to everyday situations
Available for schools, churches, mentoring programs, youth organizations, and community groups as an individual workshop or complete ten-lesson series.
Group Mentoring—Barnesville
A relationship-based group experience where young people connect with positive adult mentors and supportive peers while developing leadership, character, and life skills.

Hybrid Mentoring and Coaching
